Our Mission

To Improve the Quality of Life for Society's Most Vulnerable

Those who are poor, elderly, and disabled are some of the most vulnerable in our society. Too often, this group is pushed aside into institutional care facilities, leading to debilitating loneliness and other health risks. We believe there’s a better way. Through care, love, and companionship, we can honor the dignity of each client.

To Provide Excellent Care To All & To Pay Caregivers a Livable Wage

At Saint Joseph Home Health Care, we believe all people, especially the poor, deserve to be cared for with dignity.

Furthermore, we recognize that caregiving is difficult work. As of 2023, the average wage of a home health aid in the United States is only $13 per hour. How can a person be expected to care for others when they cannot care for themselves? We believe that caregivers should be paid a wage that honors the impact of their work.

Donations make it possible for us to expand access to home health care and pay fair wages to caregivers. We operate on an extremely low overhead model with over 90% of all donations going directly to the welfare of our clients and caregivers. Consider donating today to help someone get the quality care they need and deserve.
